In one paragraph: nothing leaves your device unless you explicitly turn on Apple Health. There is no analytics, no tracking, no third-party SDKs, no advertising. Latibule has no servers because it does not need any.
WHAT'S STORED ON YOUR DEVICE
- Your settings. Theme, glyph, hold animation, sound preferences, and so on. Saved by iOS in the app's local preferences.
- Your session history. Which practices you completed, how long, and when. Saved in the app's local storage so the streak counter, daily count, and total minutes work.
That is everything Latibule writes. It is on your phone, encrypted by iOS, and backed up only if you have iCloud Backup turned on for the app.
APPLE HEALTH (OPTIONAL)
If you grant permission when iOS asks, Latibule writes one Mindful Minutes entry to Apple Health for each completed session. This is opt-in: if you decline, the rest of the app works the same.
Apple Health is local to your device. If you have Apple Health iCloud sync on (you can check in iOS Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Health), Apple — not Latibule — syncs that data between your devices. Latibule never reads anything from your Health app and cannot see other entries there.
WHAT LATIBULE EXPLICITLY DOES NOT DO
- Does not collect personally identifiable information of any kind.
- Does not include third-party analytics SDKs (no Firebase Analytics, no Mixpanel, no Amplitude, no Segment, no anything).
- Does not show advertisements or contain advertising SDKs.
- Does not have user accounts, sign-in, or any kind of identity.
- Does not track you across other apps or websites.
- Does not sell or share any data with third parties — there is no data to sell.
- Does not make network requests during a session. The app is fully offline.
NETWORK USE
The app itself does not connect to any server. The only outbound network you may see is when you tap a research citation in the protocol detail screen — that opens the paper's DOI link in your default browser. At that point your browser, not Latibule, makes the request, governed by your browser's own privacy settings.
CHILDREN
Latibule is rated 4+ and contains no objectionable content. Because the app collects no information from anyone, it collects no information from children specifically.
CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
If anything material about how Latibule handles data changes — for example, if a future version added a feature that needed a server — this page would be updated and the effective date below would change before the new version shipped.
